Sereno.
A branding and website concept for a sustainable candle company
Role: UX/UI Design, Web Design & Copywriting (Solo Project)
Tools: Wix Studio, Figma
Project
Sereno is a concept website for a small candle brand focused on calm living and sustainability. The goal was to design an ecommerce experience that feels warm, trustworthy, and easy to navigate while clearly communicating what makes the products different.
The Goal
I wanted visitors to quickly understand:
-
what the brand stands for
-
what makes the candles unique
-
why they are worth buying
-
how sustainability is part of the product
My Approach
Rather than focusing only on visuals, I organized the homepage to answer the questions a first-time visitor is likely to have.
The content gradually introduces the brand, showcases the products, explains the reusable clay vessels, and encourages visitors to explore the collection.
Throughout the project I applied UX principles such as visual hierarchy, clear information structure, consistent calls to action, and responsive design.
Design Decisions
Simple navigation :A clean layout helps users find information without feeling overwhelmed.
Storytelling before selling: Instead of starting with product features, the homepage introduces the brand's purpose and atmosphere before moving into the collection.
Sustainability as a key feature: The reusable clay containers became a dedicated section because they help differentiate the brand from competitors.
Clear product information: Each product includes scent notes, burn time, and materials to help customers make informed decisions.
