Project
Hartwell & Pierce is a concept website for a personal injury law firm, created to explore how UX and content organization can strengthen credibility in a professional services website. The project also served as an opportunity to deepen my experience with Wix CMS, using dynamic content to manage attorney profiles, practice areas, testimonials, and legal resources efficiently. Wix CMS enables structured content collections and dynamic pages, making websites easier to maintain and scale without rebuilding layouts.

My Approach
Legal websites need to communicate professionalism before visitors read a single paragraph. I used a restrained visual style, structured layouts, and clear content hierarchy to create an experience that feels dependable and easy to navigate.
Alongside the visual design, I used Wix CMS to organize repeated content into collections, allowing information to remain consistent across multiple dynamic pages while making future updates simpler.
Design Decisions
Trust Through Visual Design
A sober color palette, generous whitespace, and classic typography were chosen to communicate professionalism, stability, and reliability rather than visual complexity.
CMS-Driven Content
Practice areas, attorney profiles, testimonials, and related legal content are managed through Wix CMS collections and displayed on dynamic pages. This creates a scalable structure while reducing repetitive content management.
Clear Information Architecture
Legal services are organized into distinct practice areas, helping visitors quickly understand whether the firm can assist with their case.
Credibility & Reassurance
Attorney profiles, client testimonials, and educational content work together to reinforce the firm's experience and build confidence before users make contact.
Consultation-Focused User Journey
Calls to action are placed throughout the website to encourage visitors to request a consultation after learning about the firm's services and expertise.
Responsive Design
The website was built in Wix Studio with responsive layouts, ensuring that navigation, practice area pages, and contact information remain clear and accessible across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
